“The Multilingual International Resource Centre (MIRC) is a leading language education institution dedicated to promoting language learning, cultural exchange, and literacy in multiple languages,” she stated. “Since its establishment in 2009, the Centre has remained at the forefront of language education in Lagos State, providing high-quality programmes to individuals and organisations.”

Dokunmu-Adegbite noted that MIRC students have consistently excelled in international examinations such as DELF, TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français), and Canadian Qualifying Exams, enabling them to advance their academic and professional careers globally.
She added that the Centre also provides translation and interpretation services in multiple languages and currently serves as the official interpreter for the Lagos State Ministry of Justice.
The Permanent Secretary reiterated that the newly introduced Adult Language Proficiency Class underscores Lagos State’s commitment to equipping residents with the linguistic skills required to thrive in a globalised world.
