The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), on behalf of the Wife of the Lagos State Governor and Chairman of the Committee, carried out a humanitarian visit to orphanage homes in Igando Oloja, Ibeju-Lekki, and Ologolo, Eti-Osa.
Eko Hot Blog reports that as part of the initiative, the committee donated essential household items such as refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, fans, mattresses, bed sheets, school bags, and shoes.
Varieties of food items were also distributed, alongside the payment of school fees for children in the homes to support their education and wellbeing.
Speaking during the visit, a representative of COWLSO said: “This initiative reflects our collective commitment to making life easier for children in orphanages. We want them to know they are loved and valued.”

Another member added: “Education is a powerful tool for transformation, and by covering school fees, we are investing in the future of these children.”
The gesture highlights COWLSO’s continuous effort to uplift the less privileged, promote education, and spread compassion across Lagos State.
