The Chief Medical Director of Ace Medicare Clinics, Dr O.O Kukoyi, celebrated his 70th birthday anniversary on the 11th of October, 2025 at the Victoria Garden Events Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

Eko Hot Blog report that the event was graced by Royal Fathers, Rotarians, Medical Practitioners, Family and Friends.

Amongst other notable attendees were the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Alhaja Noimot Salako-Oyedele, as well as the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who was represented by his wife, Mrs. Bola Obasanjo’.

Mrs Bola Obasanjo described the celebrant as a remarkable personality whose life embodies unconditional kindness.

”Dr Kukoyi is a giver, he gave to the nation. We have a lot to learn from the KUKOYIS. Sit round the table and educate your children.” She stated.

In addition, the Chairman of the occasion, Rotarian Prince Julius Adeluyi in his opening remark praised the legacy of Dr. Kukoyi, describing him as a successful man worthy of honor as a result of his philantropic acts in the society.

”We are celebrating a man who more than merit this celebration. Dr. Kukoyi has been a man of achievement in all ramifications of life”. He remarked.

In a heartfelt tribute, the son of the celebrant, Mr Oluwaseun Kukoyi authored a book titled ”UNCONDITIONAL KINDESS” to celebrate the legacy of his father.

Rotarian Dr. Azu Arinze reviewed the book, containing 500 pages Kukoyi’s personal and professional achievements revealing that trials do not destroy legacy, they only refine it.

In the review, Arinze cited a quote from the book describing the impact of the celebrant as such that cannot be written with minimal strokes.

Furthermore, The Nigeria Medical Association amongst other prestigious bodies, honored Dr Kukoyi’s contribution to the NMA, the healthcare industry and the world at large.

The glamorous event ended with testimonies from family and friends who attested to God’s unwavering faithfulness in the life of the celebrant.
