The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing a secure and conducive learning environment as construction of a new perimeter fence progresses at Bogije Primary School.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the project, a key component of the council’s SHIEELD Agenda, aims to strengthen safety measures while improving infrastructure across public schools in Ibeju-Lekki.

During an inspection visit to the site, Hon. Olowa commended the contractors for the quality of work and adherence to standards. He said, “Our children deserve a learning space that is safe, clean, and inspiring.
Education is a priority in our SHIEELD Agenda, and we are determined to invest in both the safety and development of our schools.”
He further noted that the project would pave the way for future rehabilitation works to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
“This perimeter fence is only the beginning. We are setting the stage for more comprehensive improvements that will support both pupils and teachers,” Olowa added.

On-site, workers were seen laying fence blocks, erecting pillars, and aligning boundary sections, signaling steady progress toward completion.
