President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received Mr. Anders Holch Povlsen, Denmark’s richest man and Chief Executive Officer of Bestseller Group, at the State House, Abuja, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic relations and attract foreign investment to Nigeria.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Povlsen also chairs the Bestseller Foundation, was accompanied by the Danish Ambassador to Nigeria, Jens Bach Hansen, and senior executives of the global fashion and philanthropy group.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the meeting was held behind closed doors and attended by key government officials, including the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani.

The Bestseller Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bestseller A/S, focuses on advancing social and environmental impact, particularly across West Africa, by supporting entrepreneurs and ventures that combine social progress with sustainable business growth.
Before the engagement with President Tinubu, Povlsen and his delegation were earlier received by Gbajabiamila and Dr. Tijani at the State House, where discussions centred on investment opportunities, innovation partnerships, and expanding corporate collaboration between Nigeria and Denmark.
