He noted that the president has shown “genuine commitment and innovation” in tackling Nigeria’s complex security issues, adding that the APC-led federal government is determined to protect lives and property across the country.
“We have seen President Tinubu in action. He is working tirelessly to address our challenges, especially security. I have no doubt that he will deliver,” Obasa said.

The Speaker urged Nigerians to rally behind the president and support his efforts, insisting that collective participation is needed for lasting change.
“He is still the man for the job, and that is why we must give him all the backing necessary now and ahead of 2027,” he added.
Obasa also applauded APC governors for their commitment to complementing the president’s security initiatives. He encouraged them to mobilise their citizens at the state level to take ownership of the fight against insecurity rather than watching from the sidelines.
“Security is not just the responsibility of governors. It concerns everyone. We must all take part. Supporting the president is critical if we want to redirect Nigeria’s security trajectory,” he said.
