Paris Saint-Germain’s historic UEFA Champions League title-winning campaign has been further rewarded, with five of the club’s players named in UEFA’s official Team of the Season for 2025/2026.
The team, selected by UEFA’s Technical Observer Group, was dominated by the newly crowned European champions, who contributed nearly half of the players included in the prestigious XI.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that PSG midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia secured a place on the left side of midfield following an outstanding campaign, while UEFA Champions League final Player of the Match Vitinha was also named in the team.
Club captain Marquinhos and full-back Nuno Mendes were selected in defence, while forward Ousmane Dembélé completed PSG’s strong representation in the season’s best team.
Arsenal recorded the second-highest number of selections, with three players making the cut after an impressive run in the competition. Goalkeeper David Raya was chosen between the posts, while defender Gabriel Magalhães and midfielder Declan Rice were also recognised for their performances.
German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich contributed two players to the team, with midfielder Michael Olise and striker Harry Kane earning places in the final selection.
The remaining position went to Atlético de Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.
Notably, Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal was left out despite enjoying an impressive European campaign. The tournament’s leading goalscorer, Kylian Mbappé, was also absent from the final XI.
