Addressing party members and the general public, the chairman described the exercise as a key step toward strengthening the party at the grassroots and ensuring inclusive participation across all wards in the LCDA.
“This registration is not just a formality; it is about building a stronger, more organized APC that truly represents the people,” Akogun Anomo said.
“I encourage our members and all eligible residents to come out, register, and obtain their official APC membership cards,” he added.
He explained that the exercise will help update the party’s database while giving new members the opportunity to formally identify with the APC.
According to the council boss, eligibility for the registration includes being 18 years and above, possession of a valid National Identification Number, and ownership of a Permanent Voter’s Card.
“All committed APC members across our six political wards must take this revalidation seriously, as it will strengthen our unity and preparedness,” he stated.
Akogun Anomo further urged residents to take advantage of the registration centres provided across Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, stressing that active participation will contribute to the continued growth of the party at the local level.
