EKO HOT BLOG reports that Terver popularly known as Krayzeetee serves as the Principal Special Assistant on Youth and Media Mobilization. He was reportedly seized by unknown persons, with his wife revealing that she received a fearful phone call from him saying: “I have been abducted, call mummy.” After the call, attempts to reach his phone were unsuccessful.
Terver had recently made headlines after dismissing one of his assistants who joined protests against killings in Benue. While that matter drew attention to his office, his abduction now raises broader concerns about insecurity and the safety of government officials.
So far, authorities have not issued an official statement, nor confirmed if any rescue efforts are underway. No group has claimed responsibility, and the kidnappers’ demands remain unknown.
Security experts warn that the incident highlights the rising trend of politically linked abductions in the state. They stress that without urgent government intervention, such cases could escalate further.
Family, colleagues, and supporters have since expressed deep concern, urging prayers for Terver’s safety and quick release. The development has also fueled calls for stronger security around public officials, especially those working in sensitive roles like media and youth mobilization.
For residents of Benue, the abduction is another reminder of the state’s fragile security situation. Citizens are pressing the government and security agencies to act swiftly to ensure Terver’s safe return and restore confidence in public safety.
