Nollywood star Regina Daniels has taken to social media to announce what appears to be her “declaration of independence,” proudly unveiling a newly purchased mansion.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that this comes shortly after reports of a serious disagreement between the actress and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following allegations of domestic abuse and substance use.

In a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, Regina uploaded a series of photos and videos showcasing her luxurious new home. Alongside the visuals, she wrote:
“In my house, I am a Queen! I needed a roof over my head, so I got this for myself and my family.”
Fans and celebrities flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, praising her for her strength and independence.

The post followed a week of public drama between the couple, whose six-year marriage, long noted for its large age difference, has recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Earlier, on October 18, Nigerians were shocked by a viral video of Regina crying outside her Abuja residence. In the video, she said:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. I can’t take the violence anymore—it’s too much.”

Senator Nwoko quickly responded, denying the allegations of domestic violence. Instead, he claimed that Regina was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, which he said had strained their marriage.
“Regina was not always this way. Her ongoing battle with substance abuse is the core issue. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her well-being,” Nwoko stated.
He added that he had insisted she continue her rehabilitation, either in Abuja or in Jordan, where she would be kept away from access to harmful substances.
