Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reaffirmed his team’s commitment to competing on all fronts this season, even amid a demanding fixture list and a significant first-leg deficit in Europe.
City remain in the hunt for the Premier League title, have secured a place in the Carabao Cup final, reached the FA Cup quarter-finals, and face the tough challenge of overturning a 0–3 first-leg loss to Real Madrid in next week’s return leg, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium, Guardiola said his focus remains on approaching each match individually during what he described as a decisive period of the season.

“When you’ve won many titles, every game matters,” Guardiola said at Friday’s press conference, as reported on the club’s website.
“We’ve been battling in the Premier League for months, and we will not stop fighting until the end. We cannot play the same eleven every three days, so I’m not thinking about Madrid right now.
The day after that game, my focus was Nuno, West Ham, and what we have to do. Tomorrow we have an important game for our Premier League standing, then the second leg on Tuesday.”
Guardiola acknowledged the difficulty of the schedule, which sees City play West Ham, face Real Madrid, and then meet Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final within eight days.

He stressed that every match presents its own challenges, particularly against teams fighting for survival or European qualification.
“With Nottingham Forest before, I always say when we reach the last ten games, every team is playing for something, relegation or Champions League spots. Now it’s West Ham. After that, we’ll focus on Madrid.
After the game, we will see what plans we have. Play the game we have to play and it will dictate our chances. Tuesday will tell us more.

For now, it’s West Ham, and I always believe the Premier League is the toughest competition, and we are still in it. We are desperate to win too,” he said.
Guardiola concluded by highlighting the pleasure of competing at this stage, emphasizing City’s experience in managing high-pressure situations over the years.
“This is the level we are used to. Last season, we couldn’t be on this stage, so it’s nice to be here,” he added.
