Governor Aliyu noted that his government is not only relying on federal forces but is also heavily investing in local intelligence and response through the State Community Guard Corps.
He stressed that public cooperation is the missing link in many security operations, urging citizens to provide timely information to the gallant personnel deployed to the front lines.
“We need to pray fervently for Allah’s protection for our security personnel who are checkmating the activities of bandits in volatile areas,” Aliyu added.

The Governor also used the occasion to advocate for inclusive governance, promising to maintain an “open-door policy” to ensure the aspirations of the Sokoto people are met.
He further commended Islamic clerics for their educational role during the Ramadan period and urged them to continue promoting the core principles of peace and unity across the nation.
In his remarks, Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar expressed the Sultanate Council’s full support for the Governor’s developmental and security initiatives.
The monarch specifically praised the bravery of security agencies currently safeguarding lives and property in the North-West, a region that has struggled with kidnappings and cattle rustling for years.
The visit concluded with a luncheon at the palace, signaling a strong alliance between the state’s political and traditional leadership in the face of regional threats.
