Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested a suspected kidnapping kingpin during a coordinated operation in Adamawa State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the arrest was disclosed in a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama, who said the operation was carried out by troops of the 23 Brigade Garrison on April 2 in Mansur Village, located in Toungo Local Government Area.

According to the report, the operation followed credible intelligence provided by the 23 Military Intelligence Regiment, prompting a cordon-and-search exercise in the area.
Troops were said to have collaborated with members of the local hunters’ association during the operation, which covered the Tambaya–Toungo axis.
The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody for further investigation.

Security sources disclosed that the suspect is currently undergoing interrogation to uncover more details about the group’s operations and wider network.
Meanwhile, military operations are ongoing in the area as troops intensify efforts to dismantle criminal groups and prevent further attacks on communities and security formations.
