Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu has said the newly commissioned projects across the state are designed to improve traffic flow, strengthen public service delivery and enhance the quality of life for residents, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Speaking at the inauguration, the governor explained that the projects are different in purpose but connected in impact, as they address key areas of governance and urban living.

He said the Ojota to Opebi link bridge will significantly reduce congestion around Ikeja, Maryland and Ojota, making movement easier for commuters. According to him, the project was built with walkways, bicycle lanes, solar powered street lights and modern service systems.

Sanwo Olu added that the project also includes a strong drainage system to tackle flooding challenges in the Odo Iya Alaro area, improving environmental resilience.
On land administration, the governor described the Lagos State Geographic Information Service building as a major shift from outdated systems to modern digital processes. He said this will help eliminate delays, strengthen property rights and improve the ease of doing business in the state.
He also highlighted the importance of the new multi agency administrative complex, noting that bringing several government agencies together in one location will improve coordination, efficiency and service delivery.

The governor explained that the complex was named after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in recognition of his long standing contributions to the development of Lagos and its institutions.
According to him, the facility is built to meet modern standards, with office spaces, conference facilities and parking for over 300 vehicles, all designed to support effective governance.
