During a formal visit to the Imo State APC secretariat, Okechukwu met with party leaders to seek their support and blessings.
He emphasized the importance of unity within the party, referring to members as a family working toward collective political objectives.

He expressed a reliance on faith for the outcome, stating that power belongs to God and his desire is for the divine will to be done.
This move aligns with his current role as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, a political group dedicated to promoting President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and his 2027 re-election campaign.
Okechukwu’s entry into the race brings a high-profile entertainment personality into the APC’s fold as the party prepares for the next electoral cycle in Imo State.
