Prosecutor Josephine Ikhayere told the court that the alleged offences were committed on May 26 at LASU, where the defendants and other suspects still at large reportedly invaded the campus armed with dangerous weapons.
According to the prosecution, the two men are members of the Neo Black Movement of Africa, popularly known as Black Axe or Aye, a group proscribed under the Lagos State Unlawful Societies and Cultism Prohibition Law.
Ikhayere alleged that the suspects attempted to kill an unidentified individual during the attack and were subsequently found in possession of two live cartridges in a public place.
She further informed the court that the defendants were also arrested with criminal charms allegedly intended for unlawful purposes.
The prosecution stated that the alleged offences contravened relevant provisions of the Lagos State Criminal Law and anti-cultism legislation.

Following their arraignment before Magistrate Lateef Owolabi, the court ordered that the defendants be remanded in custody pending further proceedings.
The matter was adjourned until July 1 for mention.
