According to the commissioner, the PMOD consultant will play a vital role beyond project management and design by coordinating stakeholders, supporting implementation and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

He stressed that the success of the Omi Eko Project would depend on effective collaboration among the Lagos State Government, development partners, consultants, contractors and host communities.
Osiyemi also expressed appreciation to the French Development Agency (AFD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Union (EU) for their continued support of the Lagos State Government’s vision for sustainable urban mobility under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He further commended the Omi Eko Project Team, the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) and other stakeholders for their commitment to advancing the project.
Speaking on behalf of the PMOD Consultancy, the Head of Delegation and Director of the International Unit, Planet SA, Mr. Dimitris Galanis, reaffirmed the consultancy’s commitment to delivering world-class project management, operational planning and technical expertise in line with international best practices.
Galanis said the consultancy looked forward to working with the Lagos State Government and its partners to deliver a safe, efficient and sustainable water transport system that would benefit millions of Lagos residents.
