Residents of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) are set to benefit from improved road infrastructure as the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has approved the construction of Omotayo Street (Oluwalonile), linking Sabiu Olanrewaju (Wastab Road).

Eko Hot Blog reports that the project, which forms part of the chairman’s Ileri Oluwa 2026 Project, is aimed at improving connectivity, easing transportation and enhancing the living conditions of residents within the community.
Announcing the development, Hon. Akinloye disclosed that the contractor will mobilise to the project site within the next few days to commence construction.
“The construction of Omotayo Street is another demonstration of our administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure that will improve the lives of our people. The contractor will mobilise to the site within the next few days to begin work,” he said.
The chairman noted that the road project is expected to provide lasting relief for motorists, residents and businesses by improving accessibility and stimulating socio-economic activities in the area.
Residents have welcomed the announcement with enthusiasm, expressing confidence that the construction of the road will address long-standing infrastructure challenges and contribute to the development of the community.
