The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has strongly distanced himself from AI-generated videos falsely portraying him as endorsing certain drugs and scholarships.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement posted on his official 𝕏 account, Adeboye cautioned the public against deceptive content being circulated by platforms such as “Africa Health Centre” and “Church-Funded Scholarships.” He emphasized that he had no involvement in these promotions and urged people to ignore and report such fraudulent materials.
“These videos are NOT from me, and I want to make it clear that I have no involvement in such promotions,” the statement read.
The cleric condemned the misuse of his name for deceptive purposes and called on his followers and the general public to refrain from engaging with or spreading such misleading content.
He further assured that relevant authorities are already investigating the situation and taking steps to curb the spread of misinformation. He stressed the importance of ensuring that God’s name is not exploited for fraudulent activities.
