A 25-year-old man, Kelvin Musa Azeez, has been apprehended and charged by Lagos State authorities for allegedly physically assaulting his estranged lover and posting her nude photos on social media following their breakup.
The incident reportedly took place on February 11, 2025, in the Ojodu area of Lagos, where the suspect resides.

According to police reports, Azeez and the victim had a disagreement two days prior to Valentine’s Day, during which the victim expressed her wish to end the relationship.
This did not sit well with Azeez, who then allegedly proceeded to beat the victim severely, captured nude photos of her using his phone, and subsequently posted them on social media for public viewing.
Upon receiving a report of the incident, police officers took action, arrested the suspect, and detained him for questioning regarding his alleged actions.

After a series of interrogations, the police found Azeez culpable and charged him at the Ogba Magistrate Court.
In response to the charges, the accused, Kelvin Musa Azeez, entered a plea of not guilty.
Following this, the prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, requested the Court to set a date for a hearing, allowing the Police an opportunity to present evidence supporting the alleged offenses.
Presiding Magistrate Mrs. O. Kusanu granted bail to Azeez on the condition that he provides two sureties who can demonstrate proof of livelihood and tax payment.
Additionally, the Court will verify the sureties’ addresses as part of the bail process.

The case has been adjourned, with Azeez remanded at the Kirikiri town correctional center in Lagos until the bail conditions are met.
