Bandits suspected to be terrorists have attacked Janjala Village in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, injuring one resident and abducting an unspecified number of villagers during a midnight raid.

Local sources reported the incident to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Kagarko, bringing along a 25-year-old victim, Shamsu Adamu, who sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach during the invasion. He was immediately rushed to the General Hospital, Kagarko, for medical attention.
In response to the attack, a joint security team comprising police operatives, other security agencies, and local vigilante groups was mobilized to the area.

Authorities are currently combing the surrounding bushes in an effort to rescue the kidnapped victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
Efforts to secure the safe release of those kidnapped are ongoing, and security has been heightened in the vicinity to prevent further attacks on vulnerable communities in the area.
