Nigerian Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has taken to social media to call out the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Umar Abba, amid the ongoing political unrest in the state.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the crisis involves Davido’s uncle, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke, and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), locked in a political struggle with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The conflict erupted after sacked local government chairmen, elected under the APC, attempted to return to office despite court orders removing them.

Governor Adeleke raised concerns during a press conference on Sunday, alleging that former Governor Gboyega Oyetola is plotting to instigate chaos in Osun, with plans to destabilize the state starting on February 17, 2025.
Davido’s firm came from talent not dads money
He accused Oyetola of collaborating with law enforcement, including Commissioner Abba and the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), to enforce a court order reinstating the dismissed APC council chairmen.
Governor Adeleke clarified that the chairmen were sacked before he assumed office and not through any executive orders from his administration, as some rumors suggested.
On Monday, tensions escalated as gunshots were heard around local government secretariats in Osun when the sacked chairmen and their supporters attempted to force their way into the offices, facing resistance from PDP members.

Davido, clearly frustrated with the situation, took to his X handle to address Commissioner Abba directly, posting an angry message:
“Mr. Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuku mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day everywhere, Mr. Man!!! Try me, fucker. Mr. Umar Abba, Osun State Commissioner, you are a disgrace to your children!!! Game on, FUCKER!!!! All of us go mad together!! Werey!!!”
