“As both a teacher and a parent in this community, I can confidently say this project has changed everything for our children.
The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and comfortable — pupils are more attentive, and teachers are better able to deliver quality lessons,” she said.
Mrs. Adeleke noted that before the construction, overcrowding and poor learning conditions were a major concern.
However, the new infrastructure has created a more conducive environment for both pupils and teachers, while also attracting more enrollments.
“This initiative has also encouraged more parents to enroll their children here.
They see the difference, they see the progress, and they feel reassured knowing their children are learning in a safe, conducive environment.”
Beyond infrastructural development, Hon. Surah Animashaun has consistently demonstrated a holistic approach to education.
She has distributed school packages, including writing materials and school bags to every pupil across Epe Local Government, ensuring that no child is left behind due to a lack of resources.
In addition, she has organized free eyeglasses empowerment programs for students with sight challenges, enhancing their ability to learn effectively, and supported various health initiatives aimed at safeguarding the well-being of school children.
Speaking on her administration’s efforts, Hon. Surah Animashaun reiterated that education remains a top priority in her development agenda for Epe.
“Our children deserve the best, and that’s why we are investing in projects that will prepare them for a brighter future.
Education is the foundation of any thriving society, and by providing quality infrastructure, learning materials, and health support, we are equipping our young ones with the right tools to succeed.”
