Family members, friends, traditional rulers, and dignitaries gathered at Whitestone Event Place in Ikeja, Lagos State, to celebrate the 50th birthday of Yeye Adeola Talabi in a colourful ceremony marked by culture, music, and royal blessings.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the venue was adorned with elegant decorations and large portraits of the celebrant and her husband, creating a regal atmosphere befitting the golden jubilee celebration.

Guests arrived in large numbers dressed in coordinated aso-ebi attire as traditional drummers and cultural performers entertained attendees with songs of praise and eulogies dedicated to the celebrant. The entrance of the venue was further enhanced by performers dressed in striking red outfits, adding colour and elegance to the occasion.
The celebrant made a grand entrance alongside her husband amid traditional Yoruba music and dance. She was warmly welcomed by guests before proceeding to exchange pleasantries with family members, friends, and dignitaries in attendance.
One of the highlights of the event was the appearance of several traditional rulers, who joined other guests to honour the celebrant. The ceremony was officially opened by veteran broadcaster and master of ceremonies, Baba Oselenkejo of Radio Lagos, who offered prayers for the celebrant and all attendees.
During a special royal blessing session, Yeye Adeola knelt before the monarchs, including Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Osoile, Oba Adesegun Ogunsola, and Oba Oladunni Olayinka, who prayed for her continued good health, prosperity, and longevity.
The celebration continued with cultural dance performances and musical entertainment as guests danced and showered the celebrant with cash gifts. A beautifully decorated white birthday cake was also unveiled, while Yeye Adeola and her husband shared a memorable dance that drew cheers from guests.
Later in the event, the celebrant changed into a second outfit and made another joyful entrance, accompanied by friends and family members who joined her on the dance floor.
Popular musician Segun Johnson further energized the gathering with a live performance, entertaining guests with his signature style and popular songs that kept the dance floor busy throughout the evening.
Speaking during the event, the Akinrokun of Epe Kingdom, Dr. Otunba Dengel Anifowoshe, described Yeye Adeola Talabi as a humble, generous, and loyal woman who has remained committed to her family and community.
“I have known her since birth. She is a fantastic woman, respectful, hardworking, and always willing to support others. She is the type of woman any father would wish for his son to marry,” he said.
Anifowoshe also praised her husband for his humility and respect for family values, praying for continued blessings and longevity for the couple.
Also speaking, Oba Sunday Oladimeji Elewuga of Ewuga Shagamu described the celebrant as a patient and virtuous woman, while offering prayers for her continued success, good health, and long life.
Similarly, Oba Musiliu Adebola Osoile commended Yeye Adeola and her husband for their contributions to community development and wished her greater prosperity and fulfillment in the years ahead.
The celebration concluded with music, dancing, and goodwill messages as guests joined the celebrant in marking her golden jubilee in a festive atmosphere filled with joy and gratitude.
