The Lead Visioner of Lagos4Lagos, Dr AbdulAzeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has pledged the group’s support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Jandor made the commitment during a visit to the campaign office of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Director-General of the campaign organisation of the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Kadri Hamzat.

The meeting focused on integrating the Lagos4Lagos political structure into the APC’s grassroots mobilisation efforts across the state, with Jandor assuring the party that his group was prepared to work towards victory in the elections.
Jandor explained that his decision to withdraw from the APC governorship primary was driven by respect for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the party.
“We withdrew from the state governorship primary election out of respect for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leaders of the party,” he said.
He recalled that Lagos4Lagos supported the APC during the last local government elections despite not fielding candidates, saying members printed campaign materials and mobilised across all 20 local government areas.

According to him, the group’s prompt response to Obanikoro’s invitation demonstrated its readiness for the 2027 mobilisation exercise, as members were mobilised across wards and local governments within 24 hours.
Jandor also disclosed that Lagos4Lagos was preparing to deploy 2 representatives to each of the more than 13,000 polling units across the state as part of its mobilisation strategy.
He said the presidential election remained the group’s top priority, stressing that securing Lagos for President Tinubu would be critical to the APC’s overall electoral success.
“The most important is the presidential election and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must win for all of us to win,” he said.
Jandor said Lagos4Lagos would work to overturn Tinubu’s defeat in Lagos during the 2023 presidential election.
“We will bring the energy back to win the presidency in the first ballot. We just need to right the wrong of 2023,” he said.
He also pledged to work with Hamzat despite the political differences that surrounded the governorship primary.
“We have said it that whoever the party presents, qualified for the job, and we are ready to work with Dr Obafemi Kadri Hamzat. We will work for the party,” Jandor said.
Earlier, Obanikoro urged members of Lagos4Lagos to integrate into the APC’s ward and local government structures, stressing that elections were won through effective grassroots mobilisation.
“We have people, but they did not come out to vote in 2023. We want people to come out this time around,” he said.
Obanikoro acknowledged the APC’s setbacks in the last 2 elections but said the party had learnt from them and was working to strengthen its structures across senatorial districts, local governments and wards.
He urged members to put personal disagreements aside and concentrate on securing victory for the party in 2027.
“With what I have seen, I can see that we will win big in the 2027 general elections,” he declared.
Obanikoro described Hamzat as an experienced candidate and called on APC members and supporters to intensify mobilisation to deliver both the governorship candidate and President Tinubu.
“We must deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr Obafemi Hamzat,” he said.
