Eko Hot Blog reports that the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has successfully completed the full reconstruction of Community Primary School, Folu, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the safety of public school infrastructure and the welfare of pupils across the council area.

The school, which was previously damaged by a heavy windstorm, has now been restored to a safe, modern, and conducive learning environment following a comprehensive reconstruction exercise carried out by the Lekki LCDA administration.
The project covered the installation of a new solid roof and ceiling, fresh painting of classrooms, new flooring, improved toilet facilities, as well as the replacement of windows and doors. With these upgrades, pupils and teachers can now carry out academic activities in a secure and comfortable setting.
Speaking on the project, Engr. Kasali emphasized the importance of prioritizing education and child safety. According to him, “no child should be exposed to danger while trying to learn, and our administration will continue to intervene promptly wherever public school infrastructure is threatened.”
Residents and parents within the Folu community have commended the chairman for the swift response and quality delivery of the project. A community member noted that “this reconstruction shows that the chairman truly values education and the wellbeing of our children.”
The completion of the Community Primary School, Folu reconstruction further reflects the Lekki LCDA chairman’s broader agenda of strengthening educational facilities and improving public infrastructure across the council.
