The EIS World Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria 2026 pageant has received official endorsement from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture ahead of its grand finale.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the ministry, in a letter dated August 6, 2026, recognised the pageant for its credibility, cultural relevance and contribution to youth development.

Although the ministry stated that the endorsement does not come with financial support, it authorised the organisers to use the Lagos State Government logo and acknowledge the state’s endorsement in approved publicity materials.
The grand finale of the pageant is scheduled to hold on Saturday, August 29, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.
The event is being organised under the leadership of Queen Adakole Stephen, National Director of Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria and Chief Executive Officer of EIS World.
Reacting to the endorsement, Adakole described it as a significant milestone for the organisation and its vision of using the pageant to develop young leaders.
“This endorsement is more than recognition of an event. It is recognition of the vision behind EIS World. We are grateful to the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for believing in what we are building,” she said.
She said the pageant was designed to raise confident, responsible and culturally aware young ambassadors capable of representing Nigeria and Africa on international platforms.
According to her, the endorsement would further strengthen the organisation’s programmes in leadership training, mentorship, public speaking, community service, talent development and cultural exchange.
Since its establishment, EIS World has positioned Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria as more than a conventional beauty pageant, with organisers saying the platform focuses on developing children’s confidence, discipline, intelligence and sense of service.
The organisation also said its ambassadors have represented Nigeria at international competitions and cultural events across Africa.
The 2026 edition is expected to attract contestants, parents, schools, corporate organisations, government agencies, diplomats, media representatives, fashion stakeholders and other guests.
Ahead of the grand finale, contestants are expected to participate in leadership sessions, cultural displays, talent showcases, runway training, community projects and advocacy activities.
Organisers said the activities are designed to equip the children with skills and experiences that extend beyond the pageant stage.
They also expressed optimism that the Lagos State Government’s endorsement would strengthen the event’s contribution to cultural tourism, youth development and family entertainment in the state.
