His move comes amid growing endorsements within the party for the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, who has been backed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) as a preferred consensus candidate.
Speaking on his decision, Adediran said purchasing the forms reflects his commitment to the APC’s internal processes and democratic principles. He reiterated his support for direct primaries, describing the system as a way to deepen participation, strengthen party unity, and give members a stronger voice in candidate selection.
“This step reflects my disciplined adherence to the party’s established processes and my unwavering belief in the internal democratic mechanisms of the APC,” he stated.
The governorship aspirant also reaffirmed his loyalty to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party leadership at both state and national levels, pledging continued alignment with the APC’s progressive ideals.

Adediran expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters who have endorsed his ambition, while also acknowledging the right of others to back different aspirants, noting that such diversity strengthens democracy within the party.
He further commended members of the JAGABAN–JANDOR 2027 Movement and other supporters for contributing financially toward the purchase of the nomination forms, describing their support as a sign of confidence in his leadership.
Reaffirming his vision, Adediran said his ambition is rooted in unity, inclusiveness, and a commitment to sustaining progress and good governance in Lagos State.
