New Classrooms At UPE Primary School Will Shape Community’s Future – Epe LGEA Secretary Shittu Idowu
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Executive Secretary of Epe Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Hon. Shittu Aliu Idowu (SAICO), says the new block of six classrooms at UPE Primary School, Odo Egiri, Eredo, Epe Division, Lagos State, will positively shape the future of the community.
He made the statement on Monday at the commissioning ceremony of the new classrooms which was attended by the Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Education Board (LASUBEB), Dr. Hakeem Shittu and the Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.

Idowu, who spoke on the importance of education to society, said the construction of the new block of classrooms showed the Eredo LCDA chairman’s commitment to education.
While commending Akinloye’s delivery of the school project, he urged the local government leader to provide more support to the Epe education authority. He specifically sought the provision of official vehicle to help the authority run smoother operations.
Idowu also hailed the LASUBEB chairman for his efforts and support towards improving the standard of education in Epe and Lagos at large.

I promise that I, Hon Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu aka Saico, promise on behalf of all education family not to disappoint you. We promise to change the narrative of education in our LGEA.
To our dedicated teachers who inspire and guide our pupils everyday, the parents who believe in the power of education, and the community members who have worked tirelessly to ensure that our schools thrive, we say a big thank you to all of you.
I am deeply honoured to stand before you today as we celebrate a significant milestone in the journey of education.
We have gathered here today to commission the remarkable block of classrooms that will undoubtedly shape the future of our people and our community.
Education is the cornerstone of success and the role of a school, impacting knowledge, creativity and character cannot be overstated.
Today, we mark the realisation of a vision, a vision that saw beyond bricks and mortal, he saw the potential for transformation, growth and development of our youth.
The construction of this classroom is a testament to the Government commitment to providing quality education. We understand that education is not about what happens within these walls, but also the opportunity it unlocks in our children.
It is about nurturing, young people, young minds, fostering curiosity and empowering students and pupils to become responsible and engaged citizens. I will like to extend my perfect gratitude to all those who have contributed to making this dream a reality.
Let me sincerely appreciate our ever dynamic and proactive chairman of eredo local council Development area, Hon Monsur Ismail Akinloye and his entire team for their commitment towards the development of education. His commitment to education development made him to give support towards education from different perspective which ranges from construction of blocks of classrooms to provision of furniture and employment of Local Government Teachers. These are some of the challenges we are facing at this level and he has assisted in providing and proffering solutions to these Challenges.
Almighty will continue to be with him.
You are a role model and you will continue to prosper as all these create room for quality teaching and learning.
My executive chairman sir, on behalf of all education family in Epe LGEA, pupils, parents and teachers from Ajegbende Primary school, NUT and so on, we say a big Thank you for your commitment.
As Oliver Twist, we will always ask for more, we hereby appeal for your quick intervention of the request from the office of the Education Secretary, provision of Official Vehicles and assistance in the area of running cost and some other things. God will give you the power to do that.
To our own brother, the executive chairman of SUBEB, Hon. Dr Hakeem Shittu, we sincerely appreciate your efforts and support to us towards improving the standard of education. Your appoint is like putting a round peg in a round hole.

I encourage our pupils to make the best use of this new learning environment, take advantage of the resources provided, ask questions, seek knowledge and never stop believing in yourself.
Remember, your education is your passport to the future and the future is there for those that actually prepare for it.
In conclusion, let us embrace this project as our symbol of our collective commitment to education.
Together, we can build a brighter future for our children, our community and our children.
