Veteran Nollywood actor Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, marked his 70th birthday on Friday, expressing gratitude to God and his fans.
Owoh shared his joy on Instagram, writing, “Chi efogo, and it is my 70th birthday. What else can I say? To God be all the glory. Special thanks to you all for being part of this journey. I love you all.”

Celebrities and fans flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages. Actress Uche Elendu wrote, “Happy birthday, my John Bull… 70 looks amazing on you, uncle.”
Similarly, Shan George wished him a long life and strength, while actor Freddie Leonard called him an “Icon Living.”
Reality TV star Brighto also celebrated him, saying, “Happy birthday to you, sir. Congratulations for coming this far.”
Born on February 7, 1955, Nkem Owoh has made a significant impact in Nollywood as an actor, comedian, and singer.
In 2008, he won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Stronger than Pain.
He was later honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
