Eko Hot Blog reports that Barr. (Mrs.) Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye was among key party stakeholders present in Abuja for the inaugural meeting of the Venue Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the party’s forthcoming national convention.

The meeting was chaired by the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, who serves as Chairman of the committee.
In his address, the governor urged members to approach the assignment with dedication, professionalism and unity of purpose in order to ensure that the upcoming convention becomes one of the best organized in the party’s history.
“Members of this committee must approach this assignment with utmost dedication, professionalism and unity of purpose to ensure that this convention becomes the best our party has ever organized.”
Governor Abiodun also stressed the need for synergy among the various committees responsible for planning the convention, adding that a series of inter-committee meetings would be held to strengthen collaboration and ensure effective coordination.
He noted that the cooperation of all committees would be crucial to guaranteeing a smooth and successful convention.
Speaking after the meeting, Oladunjoye expressed confidence in the ability of the committee to successfully deliver on its mandate.
“The assignment before us is a very important one, and I am confident that with the caliber of individuals on this committee, we will deliver a convention that will set a new standard for excellence within our great party.”
She added that the level of commitment demonstrated by the leadership of the party reflects the determination of the APC to continue strengthening its internal structures and democratic processes in the country.
“This is a collective responsibility. Through cooperation, effective planning and continuous engagement among committees, we will achieve an outstanding and memorable convention for our party.”
Oladunjoye also reaffirmed the readiness of members of the committee to work closely with other groups involved in the planning process to ensure that every aspect of the national convention is properly coordinated and successfully executed.
