According to the agency, the crash occurred at about 6:00 a.m. on Eko Bridge inward NEPA. One of the drivers sustained injuries and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Further details on the victim’s condition were not immediately available.

LASTMA explained that its officials, working alongside police officers from the Ebute Ero Divisional Police Station, were quickly deployed to the scene to manage traffic and restore order.
The agency said tow trucks were brought in to remove the damaged vehicles, while traffic was reduced to a single lane, resulting in slow movement and a buildup of vehicles around the Offin Canal area.
In a later update, LASTMA confirmed that the affected vehicles had been successfully cleared from the road, adding that normal traffic flow was expected to return along the corridor.
