Osun State Government has announced a ban on the display of wares on roads across the state
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Osun State Government says it will no longer tolerate the display of wares on the roads and pedestrian walkways.

The State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, who made this known in a statement after the State Executive Council meeting, said the ban became necessary because of growing traffic snarl and danger to everybody using the markets.
Mrs Egbemode who said the government has set up a task force to stop the trend explained that the team will pay unscheduled visits to the markets and arrest those obstructing traffic with their wares.
The team will work with the Federal Road Safety Corps and other law enforcement agencies to ensure safety in the markets.
