A 34-year-old woman, Sofihat Yaro, has been arrested and brought before a magistrate court in Lagos for allegedly attacking another woman during a fight in the Isheri area.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the incident reportedly happened on April 18, 2026, at Agbole in Isheri, where both women were said to have engaged in a public altercation.

During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly used a pestle to hit her rival, Fatimo Mohammed, on the head.
She is also accused of pouring hot soup and tuwo on the victim, resulting in serious injuries.
Following the incident, the victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment, while the case was reported to the police at the Isheri Division. Officers later arrested the suspect and began an investigation into the matter.
After interrogation, the police charged her before the Ogba Magistrate Court on a count of assault causing grievous harm, an offence punishable under the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
When the charge was read in court, Yaro pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Supol Philip Ademigbuji, asked the court to fix a date for hearing so the prosecution could present its case.
Presiding Magistrate, Mrs O. Kusanu, granted the defendant bail with two sureties, each required to show proof of livelihood and tax payment. Their addresses will also be verified by the court.
The case has been adjourned for further mention, while the defendant remains in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre until she meets her bail conditions.
