Security operations in Epe Local Government have received a major boost as the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, donated two brand-new patrol vehicles to the Special Squad Tactical Team, Epe Command.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the presentation, which took place in Epe, was witnessed by key officials of the local government, including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Adeniyi Owolomoshe, and senior security officers.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening patrol operations, improving response time, and enhancing overall security across communities within the local government area.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun reaffirmed her administration’s unwavering commitment to the safety of lives and property, describing security as a top priority.
“Security is the heartbeat of our administration. We are determined to ensure that Epe remains a safe haven for residents, businesses, and visitors.
This donation is our way of supporting the gallant officers who work tirelessly, day and night, to keep peace in our communities,” she said.
The Chairman noted that effective security is essential for sustainable development, stressing that her administration will continue to partner with security agencies to maintain peace and stability in Epe.
Also speaking, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Adeniyi Owolomoshe, commended the initiative, noting that the provision of the patrol vehicles reflects responsive and people-oriented leadership.
“This intervention will go a long way in strengthening security coverage in Epe. It shows that the local government is attentive to the needs of our security agencies and committed to the welfare of our people,” he stated.
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the Tactical Team, the Commander, CSP Nosa Igbineweka, expressed profound appreciation to the Chairman and her administration for the timely support.
“These patrol vehicles will significantly enhance our operational efficiency, improve patrol coverage, and enable faster response to security situations.
We are grateful for this strategic intervention and assure the people of Epe of our continued commitment to peace, law, and order,” CSP Igbineweka said.
