President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Dr. Grace Adayilo, former Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Eko Hot Blog reports that the announcement was made by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, during Adayilo’s funeral service held on Saturday at the National Ecumenical Centre in Abuja.

The event was attended by high-ranking government officials, civil servants, family members, and friends who gathered to pay tribute to her legacy.
Describing her death as a “deeply painful loss,” Wike praised Adayilo for her humility, dedication, and hard work, noting that her contributions to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) would be long remembered.
“On behalf of the FCT Administration and the President, I extend heartfelt condolences to her family.
The President has directed that her four children be given automatic employment, recognizing that the family has lost its primary provider,” Wike said.
He further commended her outstanding service, particularly her commitment to ensuring timely payment of workers’ salaries and benefits, and acknowledged her influence as a respected community leader.

Wike urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from her example, reminding everyone of the unpredictability of life and the importance of serving both God and humanity with sincerity.
During the ceremony, Dr. Grace Adayilo was remembered as a selfless leader and nurturing figure, with colleagues and loved ones celebrating her remarkable career and unwavering care for others.
