- Tinubu’s Rise to Power Was Divinely Ordained – GAC Chairman
- The prediction was made in 1992 after Tinubu stepped down for Iyorchia Ayu in the race for Senate President
- Olusi added that Tinubu’s political journey began in Ikeja, noting that while some preferred he started elsewhere, he believes his path was divinely guided
Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State, has claimed that the late former Senate President, Chuba Okadigbo, once prophesied that President Bola Tinubu would one day lead Nigeria.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Olusi made the statement during the inauguration of key projects in Lagos, including the Ojota-Opebi link bridge, the E-GIS system, and the Alausa complex.

According to him, the prediction was made in 1992 after Tinubu stepped down for Iyorchia Ayu in the race for Senate President.
He stated that the moment reflected Tinubu’s humility and political character, which, according to him, contributed to his eventual rise to the presidency.
Olusi added that Tinubu’s political journey began in Ikeja, noting that while some preferred he started elsewhere, he believes his path was divinely guided.
He further claimed that both Okadigbo and another associate, Otunba Bola Adewunmi, had independently conveyed similar messages about Tinubu’s future leadership, reinforcing what he described as a divine mandate.

Olusi said the developments confirmed, in his view, that Tinubu’s emergence as president was not accidental but part of a larger plan.
He concluded by stating that Tinubu’s leadership was “God appointed,” reflecting his belief that the president’s rise was spiritually ordained.
