Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI have arrested a suspected Boko Haram collaborator and drone supplier, while also neutralising several insurgents during coordinated operations in Adamawa and Borno states.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the operations were carried out by troops in collaboration with local vigilantes and hunters.

In Adamawa State, troops of Sector 4 under the 28 Task Force Brigade apprehended a 28-year-old suspect, Ismail Muhammed, in the Visik general area of Hong Local Government Area on Thursday, February 19. He was identified as a suspected terrorist logistics supplier.
Items recovered from him include an AK-47 magazine, rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, military accoutrements and assorted foodstuffs. The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.
In a separate operation around the Visik River line in Madagali Local Government Area, Sector 4 troops carried out an ambush that led to the neutralisation of a terrorist commander identified as Abdullahi Mafa. An AK-47 rifle and a loaded magazine were recovered from the scene.

Further intelligence operations led to the arrest of a 64-year-old suspect, Dauda Usman Gubula, at Madagali Motor Park. He was described as a terrorist collaborator and drone supplier allegedly responsible for providing aerial drones later modified and weaponised by insurgents for attacks against troops.

Meanwhile, in Borno State, troops of Sector 2 of Operation HADIN KAI, working alongside local vigilantes and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), repelled insurgent activity in Ngamdu. During the encounter, a suspected terrorist informant attempting to breach defensive positions was neutralised.
Military authorities said operations are ongoing to sustain pressure on insurgent elements across the North East.
