Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is traveling to Washington to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday. The main goal of the meeting is to discuss how to “end the killing and the war” with Russia.
Eko Hot Blog reports that this meeting comes shortly after Trump had talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, which did not result in a ceasefire.

After that summit, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s European allies should be included in all discussions about the conflict.
Zelensky shared that his call with Trump was “long and substantive” and that he is grateful for the invitation to meet in person.
He has also expressed a desire for a three-way meeting with both Trump and Putin, a format that Russia has so far resisted.
