They described Oyebamiji as the most credible aspirant capable of leading the APC to victory in the 2026 Osun governorship election.
Former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye, said the rally was not only a show of strength for Oyebamiji but also proof that the APC remained the dominant party in the state.
“This Unity Walk is to tell Osun people that APC is united and ready for 2026. Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji stands out as a competent, tested, and trusted aspirant with a strong track record of performance both as a two-time commissioner and as Managing Director of Osun Investment Company Limited,” Owoeye said.
He also commended President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and achievements, noting that his performance had rekindled public confidence in the APC across the country.

Speaking to journalists, former Commissioner Hon. Adebayo Adeleke said the large turnout of supporters reflected the growing acceptance of Oyebamiji’s candidacy ahead of the December 13 APC primary.
“It is obvious that Oyebamiji is the aspirant to beat in the APC primary. We are ready for the election any day. He is knowledgeable, humble, and a financial expert — the kind of leader who can strengthen Osun’s economy,” Adeleke said.
Kehinde Ayantunji, Special Adviser to former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, praised President Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, and Oyetola for their continued support for the party since 2022, saying their efforts had united the APC and revived public trust in its leadership.
The march, tagged “Osun APC Unity Walk,” is seen as one of the biggest shows of support for Oyebamiji’s gubernatorial ambition so far, signalling growing momentum within the party ahead of next year’s polls.
