Eko Hot Blog reports that the Phase II expansion of Pobo Market in Poka has been completed with the addition of 24 semi lock-up shops, bringing the total number of lock-up and semi lock-up shops in the market to 72.
The newly constructed shops have been painted, numbered and made ready for allocation, while plans are underway for the official commissioning.
At Mowowale Market in Agbowa, construction work is advancing steadily under the second phase of development.
An additional 60 lock-up shops are being added, which will increase the total number of shops in the market to 120 upon completion.
Roofing, plastering and electrical installations are currently ongoing as contractors intensify efforts to meet delivery timelines.
The projects are expected to enhance trading activities and strengthen socio-economic development in Poka and Agbowa communities, spanning Eredo and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDAs.
The initiative reflects Rep. Raji’s continued focus on infrastructure development and economic empowerment within Epe Federal Constituency, with emphasis on creating enabling environments for small and medium-scale businesses to thrive.
