EKO HOT BLOG reports that the President arrived at the prayer ground under tight security and was ushered to his seat ahead of the commencement of the prayers.
The Eid prayer marks the conclusion of Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual reflection observed by Muslims worldwide.
Tinubu’s presence at the prayer ground comes shortly after his return to Nigeria alongside First Lady Remi Tinubu following an official visit to the United Kingdom.
The President is expected to spend the Sallah holiday in Lagos before resuming official duties.
Tinubu had departed London on Thursday night after a two-day state visit hosted by Charles III and Camilla.
He had earlier left Abuja on Tuesday, March 17, as a guest of the British royal family.
During the visit, the President and his delegation were hosted at Windsor Castle from March 18 to March 19.

The trip marked the first visit by a Nigerian leader to the United Kingdom in 37 years and the first time a Nigerian president was hosted by a British monarch at Windsor Castle.
The visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and the UK, with discussions centred on immigration, trade, investment and cultural exchange.
