EKO HOT BLOG reports that the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, made the remarks in a post on his 𝕏 handle while reacting to Obi’s exit from the African Democratic Congress.
Obi had earlier announced his decision to leave the ADC in a statement shared on Sunday, citing what he described as a hostile and discouraging political climate.
He said that even within political alliances, individuals often face unexpected opposition and criticism, which he noted had contributed to his decision.
The former governor clarified that his exit was not due to personal disagreements with party leaders, including David Mark and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Obi explained that recurring internal disputes and legal challenges within the party influenced his departure. He likened the situation to similar experiences during his time in the Labour Party, reiterating his belief in leadership as service and insisting that he has never used power to oppress others.
He also dismissed claims that his actions were driven by personal ambition.
Reacting, Morka described Obi as a “political rolling stone,” accusing him of lacking commitment to building any political platform.
He said, “Peter Obi is never willing to remain to build any party. He fantasizes to be president on a ticket delivered only a platter of gold.
“He’s a political rolling stone that gathers no moss … roaming again in search of free, uncontested, unchallenged presidential ticket.
“APGA – PDP – LP – ADC on to NDC. Fare thee well, Nigeria’s inconsolable political drifter.”

The comments add to growing political reactions following Obi’s latest move, as alignments continue to take shape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
