The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has said that Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will remain an ordained pastor in the church.
Adeboye stated this during the church’s monthly Holy Ghost Service, noting that the First Lady was ordained as an Assistant Pastor more than a decade ago, before her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, became a presidential contender.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that he explained that her ordination followed due process and that she has not violated any of the church’s doctrines or regulations.
The cleric also dismissed calls from some quarters seeking her removal, insisting that the church would not bow to external pressure on the matter.
Meanwhile, Adeboye shared how he handled valuable gifts during the early years of his ministry while speaking at a church thanksgiving service.
He recalled receiving a Mercedes-Benz from an elderly woman at a time he was still commuting by bus. Unsure of what to do with the gift, he left the car unused for some time until a dream prompted him to accept it, warning that rejecting the gift was preventing the giver’s blessing.
Following the experience, he gave the car to his late deputy, Pastor Abiodun, who had advised him to make use of it.
Adeboye said he later received three more Mercedes-Benz cars, which surprised him, including a rare six-door limousine delivered to his residence in the early hours of the morning by a man who claimed it was sent by God.
After praying, he decided to sell the vehicle and used the proceeds to purchase motorcycles for pastors under his leadership, redirecting the gift to support others.
He said, “I almost said, ‘Alakoba wo le leyi?’ I hope this one is not trying to get me into trouble.

“Why are you robbing my daughter of her blessing? She sowed a seed, and you are not allowing the seed to germinate.
“Even if I die and they put me in this car, I will wake up. Will you permit me to sell the car?
“I remember I sold it and used the money to buy motorcycles for my pastors.”
