The protesters reportedly chanted slogans condemning the strikes and calling for international criticism of actions taken against sovereign states.
The demonstration attracted attention in the area and prompted concern among some residents due to the size of the gathering and the nature of the chants.
Speaking to Leadership Newspaper, the South West coordinator of the IMN, Muftau Zakariya, said the protest was organised to express opposition to sustained military interventions by the United States in other countries.

Zakariya argued that recent global developments reflect what he described as repeated interference in sovereign nations, and said the group believes such actions have broader geopolitical and economic implications.
He referenced international incidents, claiming that continued foreign involvement in domestic affairs of other countries raises tensions and instability.
According to him, the protest was intended to draw attention to their concerns and to call for global dialogue and restraint in international conflicts.
Security presence in the area was reported, and the situation remained under observation as the protest progressed.
