EKO HOT BLOG reports that at the parallel market, also known as the black market, the dollar traded at ₦1,393 selling rate and ₦1,385 buying rate.
Meanwhile, data from the official market showed that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, exchange rate ranged between ₦1,374 and ₦1,376.
Currency traders attributed the slight fluctuation in rates to ongoing demand pressure for foreign exchange, despite recent efforts by monetary authorities to stabilise the market.
