29 suspected Yahoo boys have been arrested in Ibadan
EKO HOT BLOG reports that officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in the Ibadan zone, yesterday arrested 29 internet fraud suspects in a sting operation at Omi-Adio area of the Oyo State capital.

Spokesman of the Commission Wilson Uwujaren said in a statement that mobile phones, laptops, two motorcycles, one i-watch, video games and jewellery were recovered from the suspects.
In a related news, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has detained 18 alleged “Yahoo-Yahoo Boys” in Lokoja, the state of Kogi.
When they busted the alleged internet fraudsters’ hideouts in Lokoja, commission agents from the Ilorin Zonal Command Office made the arrest.
It was the second such operation in the state in the previous two months, according to a statement from the Command’s Media Unit.
