Nigerian cyclist Emmanuel Myam, popularly known as Emmiwuks, has reached Liberia on day 55 of his remarkable journey to the United States. Emmiwuks, who began his adventure from Lagos almost two months ago, arrived at the Liberian border on Saturday.
Eko Hot Blog reports that his bicycle, which he has affectionately named ‘Little Eagle,’ has carried him through the Republic of Benin, Togo, Ghana, and Côte d’Ivoire before he crossed into Liberia.

The cyclist announced his arrival on his social media handles, expressing immense gratitude and calling the feeling “indescribable.” He said, “This journey is bigger than one man on a bicycle. It’s a reminder that Africa is connected, that dreams have no borders, and that with courage and faith, we can go farther than anyone ever imagined.”
Emmiwuks’s mission is to raise awareness about the difficult situation facing thousands of children displaced by conflict across Africa. He has dedicated his grueling journey to shining a light on their plight.
The cyclist concluded his post with a hopeful message, acknowledging that the road ahead is still long but affirming that he rides on with hope, strength, and unity.
