EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ejiofor, a human rights lawyer from Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, made the disclosure in a statement dated December 29, 2025, where he said it had become necessary to formally inform the public and the international community of what he described as a calculated campaign of intimidation against him.
He recalled that an earlier alert he issued regarding threats to his safety triggered widespread concern, including calls and messages from individuals across different segments of society.
According to Ejiofor, rather than subside, the threats have persisted and intensified, leaving him with no option but to place a detailed account of the situation before the world.
In the statement, he said, “Recall that I raised a public alarm concerning manifest and credible threats to my life and the safety of my family. That alarm elicited calls, messages, and expressions of deep concern from well-meaning individuals across all strata of society.
“Regrettably, rather than abate, these threats have since persisted and intensified, compelling me to place this factual and historical account before the world.
“It is common knowledge that I am presently at my ancestral home in Oraifite, Anambra State, together with my family, for the Christmas and New Year festivities.”

Ejiofor did not disclose the source of the threats but stressed that the pattern and persistence point to a deliberate attempt to intimidate him and endanger his family.
He urged relevant authorities and the international community to take note of his situation and ensure that his fundamental rights and safety are protected.
