Man Bags Life Imprisonment for R@ping Pupil
Eko Hot Blog reports that an Ekiti State High Court in the Ado Ekiti Division sentenced Ojo Ayegbusi to life imprisonment on Wednesday for raping a 15-year-old girl.
Ayegbusi committed the offence on November 11, 2020, in Ikole Ekiti, and was charged with rape.
The charge detailed, “The innocent survivor (victim) of the rape was coming from school when she was accosted by the defendant who lured her into his room and had carnal knowledge of her.

She could not tell anybody of her nasty experience, but her father found out when the girl was rushed to the hospital after she collapsed at home and blood was gushing out of her private parts.”
The defendant was subsequently arrested and arraigned in court.
The Director of Public Prosecutions for Ekiti State, Julius Ajibare, stated, “The offence of rape is contrary to Section 31(2) of the Child’s Rights Law, Cap.C7, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.”
Ajibare, who prosecuted the case for the state, called five witnesses and presented three exhibits in support of his case.
